Traffic Signal at Chandler Drive
What
happened to my suggestion about putting up a traffic light at Chandler
Drive and Fair Law Ave.? I had an accident this morning with a van. As I made the
right turn off Chandler onto Fair lawn Ave. he banged right into me,
damaging my car. WE NEED A TRAFFIC LIGHT THERE NOW!

Who
is Your Favorite Fair Lawn Doctor?
We have
many fine doctors in our town. Mine
is a young man named Dr. Lefkowitz
who is on Saddle River Road across from the tennis place. He has my
blood pressure down very far for the first time in years.
Who is your
favorite Fair Lawn MD?

Can
You Help the Elderly With The Snow?
I
have an 84 year old mother who is disabled and a widow. It is very
difficult to find a regular and reasonable snow removal worker who is
monetarily reasonable and dependable. The high school put an ad in the
Shopper News saying that their volunteer students would come out and
shovel for the elderly for free. (bologna)
Not
that my mother didn't expect to pay but no one showed up. This was a disappointment, especially when the teacher told us that no students live
on her side of town. In any case, I think a posting of reasonable members
of the town to help out the disabled/elderly with stuff like this would be
great. It seems the landscapers are out of my mothers financial reach and
the others are not reliable. I am sure that there are many others like my
mother.

Stealing A Child’s
Toy
I was recently at the Warren Point Post Office with
my son who is 6. When it was
my turn on line, I got my money order, filled out all my information and
we left. When I got to the
Columbia Savings Bank, I asked him where his Gameboy is, he said he left
it at the Post Office. We
drove back to the Post Office which is only a few blocks from the bank. I
got in and asked the girl if someone had turned in a lime green color
Gameboy with a yellow Pokemon game on it?
She said she saw it and meant to pick it up but got busy with
people and when she looked again it was gone. The people who work at the
Post Office have looked at the tape and think they know who did it. In the
meantime I did fill out a police report.
I cannot believe some people in this world would take a child’s
toy. What ever happened to this is the season for giving not taking!
My son is beside himself with grief.
