Upcoming
League Debate of Candidates. Channel 66 will broadcast a candidates forum sponsored by the League of Women Voters and the PTA Council. Five Fair Lawn residents are competing for three seats on the Board of Education. The forum will be held on April 5th at Borough Hall.

a recent forum moderated by Art Murray, representatives
from four Fair Lawn web sites talked about the types
of information they provide and how they coordinate with each other.
Borough of Fair Lawn: The Borough’s Webmaster Ron Lotterman talked about the minutes, calendar, agendas and other information found on the borough's web site.
Channel 66: Creative Cable’s Webmaster Kath Heytink described the station's web site as well as their televised bulletin board.
Library The Library’s Webmaster Penny Kaplan talked about how the library's web site allows residents to search catalogs and reserve books.
Fair Lawn News: Phil Plotch, Fair Lawn News' editor, talked about how Fair Lawn News will work closely with Channel 66 on a new TV news program currently in production.

Mock
Trial Recently Channel 66 broadcast the New Jersey Bar Foundation’s high school mock trial competition live from Fair Lawn’s Borough Hall. The high school students reproduced a trial with one team acting as the prosecution, the other as the defense.
Bob Weiner, a volunteer camera operator for Channel 66, told Fair Lawn News that the “kids were amazing. It was like watching a scene from a TV show”. On the Fair Lawn News discussion space, a viewer wrote that it was “good to see some nice kids get their time in the spotlight for a change.”
