Nine Tough Questions Fair Lawn News asked tough questions to this year's candidates for Borough Council: Jeanne Baratta, Allan Caan, David Ganz, and Howard Hyde.  Better Off: Is Fair Lawn better off today than it was four years ago? Pool and River: Ideas for improving Memorial Pool and the Passaic River riverfront? Menorah: Every year, some members of the community ask that a menorah be placed in front of the Municipal Building. Taxes: Can the Council really do much about holding down taxes? Pay to Play: Is there a problem with accepting campaign contributions from people who are trying to do business with Fair Lawn? Open Space: Do you feel that the protecting open space is an important issue? Water Quality: Do you feel that steps should be taken to improve Fair Lawn's water quality? New Rec Center: What do you think about Fair Lawn's new Recreation Center?
